內容:

Quantum science brings us to understanding from the fundamental behaviors of atoms to motion of a mechanical resonator. Quantum technologies can significantly improve the performance of their classical counterparts.  In this talk, I will focus the discussion on the study of quantum entanglement between two atomic Bose-Einstein condensates, where entanglement is a key resource in quantum technology. The relationship of entanglement and tunneling phenomenon will be talked. I will also present a new method to control the tunneling dynamics and produce multi-particle entanglement.

人物介紹:

Dr. Ho-Tsang Ng obtained his PhD in physics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2005. He then was awarded the Croucher Foundation fellowship to support his postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford (2005-2007). He was a researcher at the University College London (UCL) (2007-2009) and RIKEN (2009-2010). Now he is a postdoctoral researcher at the National Taiwan University.
